What’s really exciting for me is hearing about all that all of you are doing. Forgive me for not being able to attend many of the plays and live performances you let us know about. I WORK NIGHTS! And I also have a personal life - pretty good for an old guy like me. But, I get to the movies some and I see television (thanks TiVo!) and it’s exciting to see the people I know and love at work.

I am working on a world-premiere play called The Caterer and I am writing to invite you to the show. This new drama stars LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek:TNG, Reading Rainbow, and Twitter), Cynthia Watros (Lost and Guiding Light), James Liao, Angelle Brooks, Burnadean Jones , Rachel Kanouse , and Alejandra Jordan. It is written and directed by Brian Alan Lane, veteran television writer/producer, best-selling novelist, attorney, and university writing professor. Given that resume, you can guess that you’re in for a night of intelligent, challenging entertainment.

The Caterer premieres at the Whitefire Theatre on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks (Ventura at Sunnyslope-between Fulton and Woodman) on April 10th. It will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8pm with a Sunday 3pm matinee, through May 10th. (April 10-12, 17-19, 24-26, May 1-3, and 8-10). Jeremy Mitchell:
As many of you already know, and I apologize to those who don't, the feature I wrote and produced Know Thy Enemy (formerly "Nemesis") has secured a distribution deal. It will be released domestically by Lionsgate in May. In fact, it is actually a 2 picture deal. Lionsgate also picked up Harder They Fall, a feature we made prior to Know Thy Enemy. They will be released back to back.

ABC decided to move my episode up a week, so be sure to check out CASTLE this Monday, 4/13, at 10:00pm. As usual, you'll find me in the wrong place at the wrong time, narrowly missing getting my head blown off.
